Hot Winter Day

The weatherman says it's supposed to be 84 degrees today.  One of our customers sent us this picture on Facebook letting us know it's probably true!  71 degrees at 10:00 am!  Our phones are wide open if you need us for any heating or air conditioning needs.

Another year gone by....

Energy Saving Tips on Heating your House

*Thermostats: Ensure that you are making efficient usage of your thermostat.

*Avoid air leakage: Make sure your house is completely sealed and insulated, this will keep your heating system from working harder.

*Make small changes inside your house: Opening the drapes during the day, sunlight will help warm your house. Small changes in your day to day life will result in more efficient heating.

*Carry out regular maintenance: This saves energy and helps prevent recurring costs. Hire a contractor at least once a year to look over your heating system.

Replace: If your system is older than 8 - 10 years, think about changing it to an efficient Energy Star unit.

Programmable Thermostat

Have you thought about changing out your old thermostat to a programmable type? Programmable thermostats are good for working families. You can set your thermostat to around 82 degrees during the hours you're at work and have it come on to 73-75 degrees just in time for your arrival home from work.
